The Alliance is committed to promoting research and the investigation of the problem, serving as a voice for the issue and promoting effective solutions. These traits are inherent to every young adult battling cancer. Alli Shapiro, founder of Alli's journey embodied just that; courage and strength in her seven year fight with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, and heart as she lived with this disease using humour, humility and belief as her strongest weapons. Alli was determined to move from a cancer fighter to a cancer survivor.
Unfortunately, Alli lost her battle.
Alli's Journey will live on, so that young adults with cancer will have a charity to call "home".
