These traits are inherent to every young adult battling cancer. Alli Shapiro, founder of Alli's journey embodied just that; courage and strength in her seven year fight with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, and heart as she lived with this disease using humour, humility and belief as her strongest weapons. Alli was determined to move from a cancer fighter to a cancer survivor.
Unfortunately, Alli lost her battle.

Alli's Journey will live on, so that young adults with cancer will have a charity to call "home".

What Alli’s Journey Supports

COMFORT BAGS

Alli’s Journey has been working on an internally-created project very close to our hearts. We will be supplying Alli’s Comfort Bags to young adult cancer patients beginning their treatment. These comfort bags will include a variety of items meant to amuse, support, educate and comfort the young adult cancer patient. Hard-working volunteers are currently working on securing donations for the bags and filling them with various items, such as toiletries, books, etc.

UPDATE! In addition to being distributed at Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre and Wellspring Cancer Support Centres, the Alli’s Journey comfort bags will now be distributed to young adult cancer patients at Princess Margaret Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital!
